开发者因频繁切换 Codex 账号做了个账号切换器 Multi Codex

I had a Plus account for personal projects, and then got another one from work. Which was nice, until I had to keep switching between them.

Every time I went from something for work to a personal project, it was signing out, signing back in, and then doing the whole thing again when I switched back. Not the biggest problem in the world, but honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of doing it every single time either.

So naturally, I made an entire app to avoid logging out.

It’s called Multi Codex. You save your accounts as separate profiles and open whichever project you want with the account you want. Work repo with the work account, personal projects with my own. Each gets its own Codex login, so I don’t have to keep replacing one with the other.

Currently works on Mac (Apple Silicon) and Linux, with VS Code or the Codex desktop app.

Mostly built it because this was annoying me, but figured someone here might have the same problem.

Lemme know what you think, or if you’ve already figured out a much simpler way of doing this and I’ve spent all this time solving a problem that didn’t need an app :)
