Got tired of re-explaining to Claude what I worked on yesterday, so I built DayDream: a Mac app that remembers what you work on and lets Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT answer from it over MCP.
Ask “what did I do today?” or “where did I leave off?” and it actually knows.

To connect Cursor: install DayDream, open Settings → Connections, and choose Cursor’s Connect button (Connect & Restart if Cursor is open). It adds a daydream entry to Cursor’s MCP settings. The README also covers manual setup and the read-only stdio tools. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 15+.
The activity timeline stays on your Mac. Whatever Cursor retrieves can go to its AI provider as part of the chat. Work history is dated context; keep current project docs alongside it.
