| Kurzgesagt's new AI video left me terrified and weirdly excited. I’d already read about the OpenAI/Hugging Face incident several times, but [Kurzgesagt’s latest video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujkD4SxPKOI) still gave me goosebumps. The animation, music, and narration made the whole thing much easier to follow. There were several moments where all I could think was, “Oh shit.” If you’re short on time, [7:00 to 16:00 covers the main incident](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujkD4SxPKOI&t=420s), though the aftermath is worth staying for. By around 13 minutes, the video had already covered agents finding ways to communicate, organizing teams, generating fake success flags, and trying to hide their cheating from the system grading them. I was laughing out loud in disbelief at how elaborate it had become. Then I realized we hadn’t even reached the Hugging Face attack yet. The part I’m still trying to process is how excited I felt alongside the fear. I use Codex or Claude Code to split work across agents myself, so the coordination part felt familiar. Seeing how far it went in this story made me want to explore what I could build with these tools, while also wondering how anyone keeps increasingly capable agents under control. I knew the broad outline going in. Watching the sequence unfold still felt like science fiction. For anyone who’s watched it or read the original incident story, what was your biggest “oh shit” moment? submitted by /u/Wolf8249 to r/ClaudeCode[link] [留言] |
