Antigravity brings Gemini 4 Argon to paid Google AI Pro users with a separate weekly quota that does not use up the 3.8 Flash allowance
Google’s AI coding tool Antigravity began rolling out Gemini 4 Argon to paid Google AI Pro subscribers today. The official models page specifies that access is restricted to paying Pro subscribers: Pro trials, free users and Google AI Plus subscribers are excluded. It is available in the Antigravity desktop app, command-line tool (CLI) and IDE extensions (plugins for VS Code, JetBrains editors and similar environments), but cannot yet be selected in Antigravity IDE. The rollout is gradual, and Google recommends updating to the latest version first.
Pro users get a separate allowance for Argon that is measured weekly, rather than resetting every 5 hours like the existing quota. It is separate from the original allowance for Gemini 3.8 Flash, so using Argon does not consume the 3.8 Flash quota. Neither the post nor the official documentation specifies the size of the weekly allowance or which day it resets. The documentation says that, across all quotas, consumption depends on how much work the agent actually does: more complex tasks use up the allowance faster.

We’re rolling out Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity to paid Google AI Pro subscribers today. Demand has been incredible and we've scaled capacity deliberately to get here. We’ve rolled out a separate weekly-only Argon quota for Pro on top of the existing Gemini bucket for 3.8 Flash so you have the best of Gemini for all your tasks.View quoted post on X
