Original title: OpenAI представили GPT‑6.1 Sol с тарифами API в пять раз ниже, чем у Astra
OpenAI has released GPT-6.1 Sol for coding, document processing, and task automation. The company says it comes close to GPT-6 Astra on some tests. On DeepSWE 1.1, a benchmark of real-world codebase tasks, the model matches Astra while costing about one-fifth as much to run. On OSWorld 2.0, which tests app control, it beats GPT-6 Sol by 7 percentage points at the highest reasoning tier.

OpenAI announced GPT‑6.1 Sol — an update to GPT‑6 Sol for coding, working with documents, and automating tasks. By the company's estimates, the model came close to GPT‑6 Astra on several benchmarks.

On DeepSWE 1.1, which tests solving tasks in real-world codebases, the new model matched Astra at roughly five times lower execution cost. On the OSWorld 2.0 app-control benchmark, it gained seven percentage points over GPT‑6 Sol at the maximum reasoning level.

Standard API pricing per million tokens:
input — $2;
cached input — $0,10;
output — $10.
Input and output tokens cost five times less than Astra's.
At launch, GPT‑6.1 Sol is available in ChatGPT Work and Codex for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu users. It isn't in regular Chat yet.
